“Go away Punk!”

When he was talking about park day.  “Cora was there.  Maddie and Brooklyn were there too.  There was also some random girl.  She was nice.”

Bryson was watching Angela’s with much interest, while I was editing it.

He said, “Her baby was born in the water?  I wanted to be born in the water!”

He was very offended he didn’t have that pleasure!

Bryson is always asking me things like…

“Where is my Indiana Jones Lego Gun?”

Me – “I am not in charge of your Legos.”

“Where is my smiley face finger puppet?”

Me – “I am not in charge of your Legos.”

“Where is my Knight Helmet?”

Me – “I am not in charge of your Legos.”

Today after saying that to him he said,

“Your not in charge of anything?”

I had to laugh!

Devon got Mr. Shipma, who I was hoping he would get.  At first he was mad, because he wasn’t in Kyle’s class.  But now he is happy to have him again.   I am thrilled, because I know that Mr. Shipma is understanding about Devon’s spelling issues.

Carson got into the GATE program and got Mrs. Stone.  Who is supposed to be wonderful.  I really am hoping it will be a challenging and fun year for him.   I got to meet her on Tuesday and I really like her.

Bryson started preschool at Miss Jessie’s house with Jack.  It was where Jack went last year and he keeps calling it Jack’s school.  He loves it so far.

I have been getting a lot of things done while everyone is at school.  The kitchen is clean every day, at least until the boys get home from school.

Bryson has some great buddies he loves to play with.

Jack, Joey and Logan (alphabetical order)     The best part about school starting, is he gets to have lots of playdates with his friends!

Monday Logan comes over.  Tues and Thursday school with Jack and playdates after.  Wednesday is Joey and Jack and Friday is Music and Gymnastics with Logan.

I need to make sure I get a picture of Bryson and Jack together the next time they play!

I went to the beach 3 times this summer.  This is amazing and unexpected.  I think that since my boys are growing that helps.  Having Jenn as a friend who forces me to get out and do things, that “helps” too.

Bryson kept saying, “Why do we have to go to the beach with waves?”  (He isn’t a big beach boy, just like me.)  I explained Jenn was making us go.

It ended up being great.  It was not hot, the beach was empty, there was TONS of seaweed, which the boys loved.  I thought it was gross, but they thought it was cool.  It was probably my favorite beach outing of the summer!

Devon, Kyle, Brandon, Tyler and Zac worked together to make a movie this summer.  Many of them started planning it at the end of the school year.  Then on their own they coordinated and filmed and edited the film.

We had the world premiere last night.  The Hess’ hosted and it was a wonderful Families Home Evening!

Here we all are ready for the movie to start.  We had Rob’s projector and a screen, so it was pretty official.

Overall they did a great job.  There was a lot of shooting.  So a little violent for my taste, but there were some pretty great ideas they came up with and Devon did a great job editing.

My favorite part?  The rats were double agents! 

Bryson can hardly believe it.  He randomly breaks down crying every once and awhile and says he misses his brothers.  It is pretty heartbreaking. 

We are all excited for them to be home tomorrow afternoon!  I told Bryson it was tomorrow afternoon.  We would get up, eat breakfast and play, then eat lunch and play, then get the brothers. 

He said, “We can get up, eat peanut jelly and then get the brothers!” 

I think tomorrow is going to be a very long day.

He is almost 4. 

How did that happen?

The Saturday before the boys left for Chicago, we went to the Discovery Science Center and then to look at RV’s.  They LOVED looking at the RVs.  It is fun to dream!
